An Ode to All Things Troy

In the spring of 2005, I met someone I immedately felt Id known my entire life. A soft spoken, big hearted and excellent partier, Troy Peacock. We made some wonderful memories together- from Chili Fest, to 6th Street, Aggie baseball games, Northgate, to sleep overs at the Cole Street apartment with Michelle, Richard, and Justin... to lunches at Jasons Deli. There truly was never a dull moment.


One of the proudest Aggies Ive even known, Troy worked at Reed Arena, never missed a sporting event, wore maroon almost everyday, and truly embodied all that is Aggie. He even made me, an avid "middle-of-the-fencer," admire his school pride and his desire to be all he could for his beloved A&M. Troy was truly one of a kind.

Troy was taken away from us too soon. He will always be remembered, loved and thought of. Today would be his 25th birthday, so if you have a moment- please say a prayer for him, for his family and for all that carry his memory along. We love you Troy. "I feel like I need to be spooned" -You may not be here in sight, but you are ALWAYS in our hearts. I'll see you later, friend.
