Why do I feel like Ive been blogging about TV and the cold almost non stop? Here I am with another show to obsess over. Shameless.

Watch it. It’s a little lude and crude, there is drinking, drug use, homosexuality and sex but its very good and from the first episode, it totally sucks you in. There have only been four episodes so far, get on your couch and catch up!

William H. Macy is a genius as the chronically drunk and neglectful father Frank Gallagher. He is the proud single dad of six smart, spirited and independent kids, who without him would absolutely be better off. Emmy Rossum stars as his eldest daughter- the one who pays the bills on time, cooks, cleans and raises her five younger siblings. The show is chock full of excellent supporting characters Ill let you learn more about once you tune in (see what I did there?)

One more Id like to mention? Justin Chatwin who plays Steve. Nom.

Finally Cold!

I was born in Massachusetts and even though I only lived there until I was 8, I actually CRAVE the cold. Seeing as how I live in Texas, I get the cold alright, but it’s the snow I miss. I have spent the last two days on facebook reading all sorts of status updates from friends in Chicago, the east coast, DFW and more- they all have snow. Blizzards even, snow days, fires in their fireplaces! What do we have here in Austin? 18 degrees and 20+ mile an hour winds. Sure I asked for the cold, and don’t get me wrong Im loving it, I just wish it would come with something exciting like snow, or work closures, or bottomless hot chocolate served to me off a silver platter.

Is that too much to ask?
